There is no denying that skin….is, in fact, in.

…and I have officially found the sweater of my dreams.
Oversized & warm, this cardigan is one of those purchases I will live in. Wear it alone or layer it under an even bigger coat…either way you get the cozy feel from this loop cardi. It can bring you through fall, into the holiday season, and last you all winter.
Today I paired it with skinny jeans, my Stella flatforms, and my new beautiful patchwork belt! The colorful leather can add a spark to everything from billowy dresses to jeans and trousers. I am loving the mixture of patterns and deep tones for the fall. Shop today's look below:

Nothing screams falling leaves and crisp weather more than a layer of woodsy warmth. Up your layering game this fall with eye-catching buffalo plaids and the classic check print. You will find pieces that could literally dress you head to toe…from hats to socks and sneakers.
There is something about the lumberjack resembling material that adds coziness to any outfit. Today I am staying more on the grungier side and opted for a casual street-wear look pairing my oversized shirt jacket with a pocket tee, felt fedora, and motorboats. You can pair yours with jeans, or go all out with longer lengths and pieces with feminine details.
Hello everyone,
Well, as you have seen on my Instagram, I just got back from Aruba and I had the most amazing and relaxing time. Every year I take two or three vacations with my family and we have been there several times because the Island has the best food, nicest people and pretty much guaranteed great weather. Two years ago we stayed at the brand new Ritz Carlton, which we loved but it is very quiet so this year we decided to go back to the Marriott Stellaris where there is much more activity. The grounds are beautiful and the sun was sizzling, so much so that we had to spend a little less time than usual on the beach. You are right at the equator so you can just imagine how great the weather really is. I cannot say enough about the food and we have several restaurants we frequent, never being disappointed.
We kept it a little more low key than usual this year not fussing as much for dinner, more sandals less on the heels, hair and makeup, which was kind of nice but doesn't always make for the best pics so I will restyle and repost some of my outfits when weather permits. In the meantime I'm back in the Northeast and back on the blog.
I wish I had this maxi dress while in Aruba…it just screams for clear blue water and pink sand. It has that princess feel to it with the flowy bottom. I paired it with pink pumps, and a light blue Edie Parker clutch for a little more color. I hope you like it as much as I do! You can get this look below.
Thanks for stopping by today!!
Love Lauren
XOXO
Good afternoon everyone!!! I hope everyone’s holiday was amazing! I feel like it has been years since I have posted a new look on the blog soo lets get to it!
These black jeans detailed in ruffles from the knee to the floor are probably one of the coolest sample sale finds ever. The ruffles are so chic and girly. Pieces like this are my favorite because they are so unique and it is difficult to find similar items. On top I went with a sleek jacket with a soft leopard-printed for a polished look. The jacket is now a sale…I would say a must to purchase!! I paired my Stuart Weitzman black calf-hair booties to finish off this outfit. Shop this look and similar items below:
My favorite new layer is this jacket from J.Crew. It is so fluffy and teddy bear-like made from a Sherpa fabric. Olive green is a neutral color so I decided to spice up this look with calf hair booties and a gold lettered graphic tee…Toast of the Town. You can always add a cute statement to your outfit this winter by pairing the perfect hat. Shop this look below:
This fringed suede skirt is such a showstopper and can work wonders with just about anything. Today I am getting a little into pattern mixing with stripes and patchwork booties. Stripes work because the colors look great together and the skirt adds a solid, which breaks up the prints. To get the J.Crew look, it is all about the magic in the mix. Hence, the darker suede booties and tortoise necklace, which add a chic statement that is hard to describe. Below, you can shop my look and similar:
Good morning and happy Monday!! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. Today’s look is pink and fluffy. With the holidays around the corner and cold weather coming hats and jackets can make awesome gifts.
Today I have on a classic flight jacket in pink. It fits oversized and fully lined, which makes it great for the winter. I am always a fan of Eugenia Kim accessories. They are designed with feminine modernity, unexpected details, bold colors, and they never disappoint. The chunky knit I have on today is so adorable with pink pom poms on top!! It is linked and exclusive to Neiman Marcus and I also have listed a few other favorites. Shop my look below:
One of my favorite boutiques to shop at in my area is Circles. They offer some of the most sought after designers such as DVF, Joie, Rag & Bone, Theory, Splendid, Veronica Beard, Nicole Miller Etc. Three pieces of today’s look can be found at the store- this jacket (Splendid), skirt (Joie), and boots (Vince). All pieces are favorite’s of mine this season.
I love that the long knit sleeves on this anorak give such a cozy vibe for the cold weather…not to mention are designed with a tribal inspired pattern. In addition to the striped tee and scarf layered underneath, I added this high-waisted wool skirt with an exposed front zipper, which is the perfect wardrobe addition. Suede booties are a must this fall and this pair fromVince offer the perfect touch and are also selling out fast!! Shop them below along with other items from today’s look. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy.
Todays outfit consists of these Alice and Olivia white shorts and this silk black top. When I add my gladiator sandals and this Nicholas floral biker jacket the outfit takes on a new and dramatic look. Biker jackets, which have become a wardrobe staple of the millennium, have changed drastically over the years. Designers are adding everything from prints to embellishments, and just by pulling in a few different things…be it a hat, belt, jewelry, or shoes a look can completely change. I am all about a choker these days, and absolutely love what this multi-row festival-esque necklace brings to the outfit.
First and foremost I would like to say Thank you to Megan for this beautiful ring!! I just love it and they have the cutest things at www.mosettejewelry.com Check them out!! I was in NY last week and I picked up a few things at Zara including this great graphic tee and the sweetest little jacket, which I’m sure will get a lot of use. This type of jacket can be worn with so many things…dress it up or down, it can be worn on a casual day with jeans or shorts or you can pair it with a skirt or over a dress. I love everything about it…the fabric and the pattern with the little bit of fringe around the edge just calls my name. Today I chose to wear it with a pair of white jeans and my denim Louboutin’s, which when I purchased I wasn’t sure I would get a lot of use out of them but they are quickly becoming a go to, they seem to match everything…so easy to wear.
Stacey Bendet’s Alice & Olivia has been one of my favorite lines for quite a few years now. Her pieces just seem to always fit me well and they are utterly adorable. These floral jeans and sea foam colored top were a sample sale find my mom picked up for me in New York City last year. I paired the printed pants with my newest denim pumps from Christian Louboutin. At first I was unsure about the white accent heel, but then realized it can be very eye-catching for spring & summer ensembles.
Street meets luxury in this tasteful knit maxi dress from the line T by Alexander Wang. The collection is centered more around ‘tee-shirt dressing’, which offers a variety of styling options. I love that this dress is not skin tight, but more stretched out. When going about styling the chunky knit, I went with an urban-chic vibe. I added my new Antonello foldover clutch, which adds a unique touch with its handwoven fabric. I am so in LOVE with it!! The patterns between the clutch and the pumps look really cool together…and speaking of cool!! I finished the look with a black leather bomber jacket, safety chain choker, and long Chan Luu necklace.
