I may be pushing it…but I can’t help thinking spring. I am already over layers upon layers and coats the size of blankets. With resort wear out and Aruba on my mind…I can’t help but rush the transition. After purchasing this belted midi-skirt, the weather took a warm turn (for legit 1 day) which happened to be the day I was shooting new looks…so I went for it.
The A-line skirt detailed with a ring-belted waist and side slits is the perfect sleek and chic number for the upcoming season. Not to mention, the color is so striking. Determined to shed some layers while I could, I opted for a collarless and cropped denim jacket. Originally, I had planned on wearing it closed and fastened as a top, but it didn’t fit the way I had imagined it in my mind (hate when that happens)
I switched it up by adding a cropped v-neck blouse and extra accessories. Oversized ruffle cuffs, embroidered tiger Gucci socks, and red calf-hair platforms all add a hint of retro. You can shop todays look and similar items below.
