Diva

Soo obsessed with my new graphic tee from BAW London. I love a graphic tee especially one with a sophisticated design and streetwear elements. I paired my Diva tee with all black and a little bit of denim to break it up. This look is simple. Shop it below:

Grown up Grunge

‘Grunge’ is a style that has been around for years. It is about being casual and comfortable, yet there is just something about it that gives your look an edgier vibe. Whether it be layering, an oversized piece, statement tee, plaid shirt, or military boots….something that gives your outfit an effortless and tough blend.

Today I mixed combat boots with baggier black overalls, a green puffer jacket, and scarf around my neck for a subtle grungy street look. You can shop my look below:

Good afternoon everyone!!! I hope everyone’s holiday was amazing! I feel like it has been years since I have posted a new look on the blog soo lets get to it!

These black jeans detailed in ruffles from the knee to the floor are probably one of the coolest sample sale finds ever. The ruffles are so chic and girly. Pieces like this are my favorite because they are so unique and it is difficult to find similar items. On top I went with a sleek jacket with a soft leopard-printed for a polished look. The jacket is now a sale…I would say a must to purchase!! I paired my Stuart Weitzman black calf-hair booties to finish off this outfit. Shop this look and similar items below:

Toast of the Town

My favorite new layer is this jacket from J.Crew. It is so fluffy and teddy bear-like made from a Sherpa fabric. Olive green is a neutral color so I decided to spice up this look with calf hair booties and a gold lettered graphic tee…Toast of the Town. You can always add a cute statement to your outfit this winter by pairing the perfect hat. Shop this look below:

Red to Toe

Hi Everyone!!

I love the color red this time of year. It is so stunning.

Last week I received this beautiful custom made coat all the way from Dubai. This floor-length coat is a statement piece for sure. I cannot thank the designer Katya Kovtunovich enough. She is taking the world by storm with her modern interpretation on Arabic fabrics by creating clothes that appeal to women worldwide.

I paired an all black look underneath for a chic, yet simple look as this coat does all of the talking. A matching beret and jeweled belt add the finishing touches. Keep an eye out for this designer as she has royal and celebrity admirers including Lady Gaga.

Lessons in Layering

Denim:Rag&Bone| J.Crew blazer, scarf, boots,vest|Turtleneck:Alice&Olivia

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Tis’ the season for layering...a look that can keep you warm but also make an outfit more interesting. All you need to do is combine a few basics along with some similar style pieces. My basics today consist of a navy turtleneck and a pair of jeans. I have mixed in a feminine and fitted houndstooth blazer with a buffalo-check vest and oversized scarf.

You have to check out the Sperry collection for J.Crew!! The winter-weather-ready boots are cozy and perfect for the snow. You can shop this look and similar below. Have a great day everyone!! XOXO

Necessary Neutral

Many of you may know my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots are my everyday winter go-to’s…literally worth every penny. However, the newer version with shearling trim may be my new found love. A necessary neutral and very sophisticated.

Today I have on a borrowed-from-the-boys oversized shirtdress layered under an oversized knit with high side slits. I figured I may as well take advantage of the so called “warmer” weather before winter actually hits us. You can shop this look and similar below. Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

Today’s look is pretty casual and focused around classic black and red plaid. I think the crazy thing about the bold pattern is that it has so many different connotations (preppy, punk, grungy, chic etc.) There is a bit of a combo in this outfit- ranging from distressed jeans to this charming crossbody bag.

What are everyone’s weekend plans?! Do you have any awesome outfits picked out you are dying to wear?? I would love to hear about it! Thanks for stopping by!! Shop today’s look below:

Paired to Perfection

This fringed suede skirt is such a showstopper and can work wonders with just about anything. Today I am getting a little into pattern mixing with stripes and patchwork booties. Stripes work because the colors look great together and the skirt adds a solid, which breaks up the prints. To get the J.Crew look, it is all about the magic in the mix.  Hence, the darker suede booties and tortoise necklace, which add a chic statement that is hard to describe. Below, you can shop my look and similar:

Pink Fluff

Good morning and happy Monday!! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. Today’s look is pink and fluffy. With the holidays around the corner and cold weather coming hats and jackets can make awesome gifts.

Today I have on a classic flight jacket in pink. It fits oversized and fully lined, which makes it great for the winter. I am always a fan of Eugenia Kim accessories. They are designed with feminine modernity, unexpected details, bold colors, and they never disappoint. The chunky knit I have on today is so adorable with pink pom poms on top!! It is linked and exclusive to Neiman Marcus and I also have listed a few other favorites. Shop my look below:

Riveted

Good morning and happy hump day everyone!!

The weather has been so hot and cold lately…literally. I am soo not ready to take out all of my heavy winter coats, but this knit fall outfit makes the transitioning just a little easier. I decided to pair these metal detailed leggings with the matching zip-up cardigan for a retro/chic look. Some people may gravitate to the skirt instead, which is also listed below.

When I first saw these Miu Miu booties in the store…it was love at first sight. Patent leather shoes are so chic and these belt-like fastenings are just beyond. Not to mention…the pointy-toe and chunky heel reflect the themes of the FW15 runway show. They are not available online, but I have picked out some similar favorites.

Thanks for stopping by today!! XOXO

Sometimes casual style=the best style

This effortlessly chic dress by BB Dakota masters casual wear.  The bold and color block knit makes as the perfect dress for warmer days and the perfect layering piece for when it cools down. You could add leggings, jeans, a belt, and even a collared shirt….talk about versatile.

Today’s accessories include suede booties, a slim crossbody bag that also converts into a clutch, and a scarf draped over my shoulders. This bag is also available in other colors if you were to decide to go with the blue or tan version of this dress. Shop this look below:

Red Accents

Sweatshirt:H&M|Jeans:Joe's Jeans|Boots:Toga Pulla|Scarf:Vintage Celine|Hat:Older

Dino Petrocelli Photography

You don’t need a whole new wardrobe to spice up your look…sometimes all you need are the right accessories. Even the most boring outfits can be transformed with the help of a few key pieces. Today I have on jeans and a plain black sweatshirt (boring right?!) but the outfit is given character by red accents and a mod inspired driving cap.

Around my neck is a Celine printed silk scarf I ordered off of the vintage boutique on Farfetch. There are some really awesome pieces on there for great prices.  The red design just happens to match my new Toga Pulla boots….which I immediately became obsessed with as soon as I saw. I think the western style silver buckles on the side are just the coolest and the scarf adds a perfect refined touch.

If you are searching for a plain sweatshirt, I recommend this one from H&M. It is a great price and also comes in light pink and gray. Below, shop this look and my scarf picks (both vintage & new) I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. XOXO

Stripe Shirt Dress

One of my favorite things about the line BB Dakota is that they allow you to have fun with their pieces and style them in your own way. I own a few of their shirt-dresses and they are seriously the best. They usually come with a button-in lining so you have so many options. You may decide to wear it as a dress, an oversized shirt, or even unbutton it and wear as a longer layering piece.

Today’s look is all about the shirt-dress. I decided to give my stripes a little bit of sas with a beaded flower choker and my favorite over-the-knee boots…and does this leather vest look familiar to you?! If it does, that’s because it is the BCBG wrap dress you may have seen me in recently…another great versatile item. Below I have rounded up a few of my favorite shirt-dresses right now along with similar chokers.
Thanks for stopping by & happy Shopping! XOXO

Cargo&Camo

Sweater:Current/Elliott|Denim:Citizens of Humanity(Similar)|Boots:Aldo|Bag:Fendi (Similar)

How ironic is it that something that is used to blend in with your surroundings is also a fashion trend that can make you stand out?!  Camouflage is typically a more rugged look, but there are just as many high-end pieces out there as there are your everyday tee’s and sweaters.

The oversized cardigan I have on today is by Current/Elliot and I LOVE it. It is so comfortable, and oversized sweaters are the best for fall and winter because you can put them on with legit anything. I decided to stay with the oversized vibe, and added my boyfriend/cargo jeans along with my new suede booties and perfectly matching Fendi bag! Below you will see other pieces by Current/Elliot along with one of my favorite items- the cargo pants by Faith Connexion (first seen on Kim K). I am obsessed.

What are your opinions on camo? Love or hate?!

Paris

Beret:Stella McCartney|Top:Topshop|Pants:Theory(older)|Boots:Reed Krakoff(similar here)|Scarf was a gift from Paris

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Bonjour!!!

I am feeling very Parisian today with my new Stella McCartney beret…so what better way to accessorize it than with a Paris scarf draped across my shoulders. Both lend an effortlessly chic finish to this look. As you may know by now, I tend to stick to neutrals when the weather changes. They are easy to mix-and-match, are simple and versatile.

My parents bought me this scarf while they were in Paris, so unfortunately I have no advice on where to purchase it! The good news is…you do not need it to pull off this look. Below I have picked out other berets, wraps, and scarves that will work just as well. Remember, you do not need to stick to one neutral color. I hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

XOXO

Tokyo is for Lovers

Staying sharp with this amazing charcoal plaid coat from J.O.A. (which is now under $100 I may add!) Today’s look is a casual and everyday outfit featuring jeans and a printed tee with the script “Tokyo is for Lovers”. I went a few sizes up in the top because I preferred it a little oversized.

This look is one everyone can put their own twist on. Whether it be a different tee, a sweater, layering, or accessories…let your style shine! I added a felt Rag and Bone hat for a charming touch and menswear-inspired feel. I wore my favorite Stuart Weitzman 50/50 leather/neoprene boots. For anyone looking for the perfect pair of over-the-knee boots I recommend these. I know they are a little pricey, but trust me they are worth every penny!! Below shop this look and similar plaid coats:

Shades of Gray

One of my favorite boutiques to shop at in my area is Circles. They offer some of the most sought after designers such as DVF, Joie, Rag & Bone, Theory, Splendid, Veronica Beard, Nicole Miller Etc. Three pieces of today’s look can be found at the store- this jacket (Splendid), skirt (Joie), and boots (Vince). All pieces are favorite’s of mine this season.

I love that the long knit sleeves on this anorak give such a cozy vibe for the cold weather…not to mention are designed with a tribal inspired pattern. In addition to the striped tee and scarf layered underneath, I added this high-waisted wool skirt with an exposed front zipper, which is the perfect wardrobe addition. Suede booties are a must this fall and this pair fromVince offer the perfect touch and are also selling out fast!! Shop them below along with other items from today’s look. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy.

Wrap Vest

Happy wrap-vest Wednesday!!

Vests offer a cozy and warm layering look for fall and winter. This wool one by Joie has a contrast black and striped border that can be fastened closed with a thin leather belt. Vests always look great with jeans or leggings, and a pair of boots. Today I went with a legging-like pant from J.Crew, and over-the-knee boots. I added a black felt fedora to complete this fall look. Below, you can shop this look and other stylish options:
