Every year I go to the Marriott Resort in Aruba with my family, and every year it NEVER disappoints. It has gorgeous grounds, good food, fun activities, and nice people. You are surrounded by paradise every step of the way.
This one shoulder bikini has been one of my favorites since last year. I was unable to get it because it sold out everywhere SO fast in red. When resort swim came out this year it was one of my first purchases! (It is sold out again!) Besides the impeccable quality and great fit, the scalloped edges and one shoulder styling add a sophisticated touch. I ended up buying the bandeau top as well.
Iguana's are everywhere in Aruba. You see mainly smaller ones near the pool, but there are larger ones as well. I never knew they jump or swim until this year. Not even ten minutes before this photo was taken, I met a woman who was telling me they love to swim. Next thing you know...I am in the water and this happens. He got in, and I got out. (How creepy is he!?)
The sunsets are unreal. Every evening they are one of my favorite views. SO serene.
One of the many amenities available at the Marriott in Aruba is the Mandara Spa. Friday morning I had the most amazing hot stone massage. The spa inside of the Ocean Club is gorgeous, but I opted to receive it in a private cabana beachfront, where time stood perfectly still. The tranquil and soothing atmosphere entrances you into a deeper state of relaxation and adds to the therapeutic experience. Afterwards, my body felt balanced, energized, and restored.
Random fact: I LOVE ice cream..and I NEED 1 OF THESE RIGHT NOW. Seriously though, I cannot put into words how good these are. The first time time I had one (meaning, right when we got there) I ordered the chocolate chip dipped in white chocolate and drizzled with dark chocolate (the white heart) which was soo amazing. I didn't think I could try better...and then there was the coconut and dark chocolate. Let's just say that was on repeat all week. It tastes EXACTLY like a Mounds Bar.
...and yes, there is now a Starbucks inside of the resort :-)
