The Coach Dinky Bag

The Coach Spring 17’ collection fuses classic American style with counterculture influences. Along with biker details, fringe elements, and floral appliqué’s, the collection also puts a modern spin on one of the most iconic Coach bags ever made.

Supursestyle

Hectic schedules can sometimes allow us to forget about other obligations, planning, and saving we may have to do. When Supursestyle reached out to me asking to collaborate, they could not have chosen a better time.

Tres Chic

Beanies and fedoras are a fashion girls favorites during cold weather seasons, but no hat collection is complete without a beret. Beyond the official duties of the topper in the military, the beret has almost become a cliche symbol of Parisian style

Boyfriend Sweater

“Boyfriend Style” clothing has become a huge phenomenon. From denim, to tees, sweaters, tailored pieces and even shoes…the masculine style is taking over womenswear.

Wearable Art

When I saw this hoodie I was immediately drawn to it- this McQ by Alexander McQueen hoodie strikes the perfect balance between edginess, whimsicality, and art.

Hello friends,

My posts might be a little sparatic for the upcoming week or so as I am out of commission. Hope to be up and about soon and back at work. In the meantime, today's look has that military feel to it. I have had this jacket for awhile now and I don't get to wear it to often but it seemed to work well with these side striped trousers. They have a small slit at the bottom which is very in right now..giving them that athleisure feel. I just added a geometric mock-neck top with a pop of red in the shoe and this great gold clutch from Rebecca Minkoff which picks up the gold from the buttons on the jacket. This is probably one of my favorite looks for the season. Find similar items below and thank you for stopping by today.

NOM X Clarins

Dry skin seems to be a problem no matter what time of year it is, but can be especially detrimental during winter and colder months. Sudden changes in temperature and humidity affect the skin’s natural hydration capacity therefore resulting in the skin feeling rough and lacking radiance. What a lot of people may not know (I didn’t until recently!) is the impact of thermic shock on skins moisture balance:

Wind, Sun, Cold-->Immediate visible redness, rough & uncomfortable feel-->production of dead cells--> increases reduction in water retention

Clarin’s Hyrda-essentiel moisturizer has been my go-to tool in the battle against dry skin. It has made my skin so resilient to the elements just like the plant the product was derived from (Kalachoe Pinnata). Found in Madagascar, also known as the leaf of life this plant was discovered thriving despite harsh sunlight and sometimes periods of low rainfall. After applying twice daily, my skin has never felt more silky smooth…FINALLY!! I am so excited to share this product with you!!

Here is what I did; First, I applied the serum to cleansed, clean skin. Once in the morning, and again at night. The product shields the skin from dehydration and pollutants, leaving it plump and radiant. Following the serum I applied the cream to my face and neck…enhancing the skins ability to retain moisture.

Every skin has different needs…this is why hydra-essentiel comes in a variety of textures. 2017 is already off to an amazing start now that I found this product. Besides being fresh and light, it has a wonderful smell. I promise you it is definitely worth every penny. Check it out and see for yourself! I would love to hear how it works for you!!!

XOXO,

Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had an amazing holiday season.  So far, the cold weather seems to be holding off enough to get out and still feel comfortable enough to shoot without a coat and not freeze to death. I recently found this tweed plaid shift at forever 21 for such a great price I couldn't pass it up. Would you ever guess that it was just 28 dollars? The fabric is a nice quality and I love how the bottom is just frayed. This one is so easy to style, it makes perfect sense to add a black body suit, I chose a turtleneck but you could easily wear a blouse or even a long sleeved tee. Normally I would wear my over the knee boots bare legged but today I decided to add black tights. You could even wear a textured pair for an extra punch if you like.  Being so into hats lately, when I saw this cute number at my sisters I thought I would just borrow it thinking it would be an adorable touch. Thank god for sisters...especially when you have one that is so willing to LET you borrow. On the day I shot this outfit it was snowing but it was a wet snow so we just grabbed an umbrella, also trimmed in black. I did bring along a coat but the outfit was just to cute to cover up. Even when you are wearing something as simple as a shift, there are always things you can add to take your look to another level. A brooch or some really fun earrings would also be a great idea. Just that little extra bit of something. When I am planning my outfits I always take a quick look around my closet to see what I have that would complete my look. Sometimes I surprise myself, you never know what you will find that you forgot you even had.

In a few more days we will be ringing in a brand new year. 2016 brought so many new experiences for me and I am excited for 2017 to see what it may hold. It has been snowing for the past couple of days so my photographer thought it would be a good idea to get out and have a little fun with it. Every now and then the little kid comes out in all of us whether it be catching snowflakes on your tongue, throwing snowballs or making snow angels. It was a great day to be out and about making the most of it. I was recently invited to the Alice and Olivia sample sale before anyone else and I got first dibs on many beautiful items one of which was this long skirt and matching acrylic clutch. Originally wanting to wear heeled boots, the weather being as it was I decided to put on my low boots, socks, grab a pair of earmuffs and just go with it. Turns out it worked so well. Sometimes the unplanned turns out to be the best. I love these pictures as they show so much of the real me.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and amazing New Year!!!

Show Me Your Stripes

This holiday season try something a little different than your average red, green, or all black outfits. Show me your stripes!!! Horizontal, vertical, black, white, colorful, or any-which way stripes make a graphic statement. They add a new rule to dressing up. If stripes aren’t your thing, you can try adding prints or textured statements.

I am SO in love with this jacquard mini dress (available petite, regular, or tall). The price is pretty crazy too! With the weather really cooling down these last few weeks, I decided to add an easy-to-layer Wolford bodysuit underneath. Turtleneck’s are really my thing (even though some people think they are for your grandma) I think they are always classy and elegant. With this look, the turtleneck adds a more effortless element. Go Fur It

There is nothing I love more than being able to rely on a brand for the perfect attire no matter the season or event. When I walk into Banana Republic I can always bank on walking out with a bunch of new amazing goodies, which is why I continue to go back.

Their contemporary classics are designed for a style that endures and creations that can be added for your own unique look. Today’s fur vest (DON’T worry it’s faux) is not only so soft and beyond chic, but had endless styling options. It is perfect for fall, winter, and the holiday season, which is now upon us. I decided to pair it with this knit detailed with bows, and silk scarf for a casual and stylish look. Below, shop some of my favorite Banana picks of the season and enjoy some holiday shopping.

Comfort and style don’t always go together….but when they do, isn’t it just so perfect?! Many people (including myself) are trading in their jeans for leggings and track pants. With the right accessories you can give your off-duty look the perfect mix of chic and sporty.

Today’s look is grid print track pant and with a matching sweatshirt. It was one of those outfits I saw on Asos and knew I had to have before it sold out. It is by a brand called Noisy May, which makes both petite and tall collections. If you are going to order from them make sure you are aware of this!! (I have on the petite) I added a beanie and a pair of pointed toe booties for a cool yet relaxed look that can be worn anywhere and everywhere. Below shop some of my favorites that I have also had my eye on!! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Hey guys!!! Happy Monday!!

Today’s look is all about chic layering and mixing of bold colors. This ‘cocoon’ coat is inspired by old-school stadium blankets and adds warmth without bulk. Available in a plethora of colors…your options are limitless. From bright yellow, pink, orange, red and everyone’s favorite neutrals..you can really do a lot with this coat (and those aren’t even half of the colors!)

The one I am wearing pictured above is “French Purple”…and the name just happens to match this vintage Parisian logo tee. Contrasting stripes and feminine details on the scarf add a bold finishing touch, combined with glitter booties (perfect for the holiday season). Shop this look below:

Loop Cardi

…and I have officially found the sweater of my dreams.

Oversized & warm, this cardigan is one of those purchases I will live in. Wear it alone or layer it under an even bigger coat…either way you get the cozy feel from this loop cardi. It can bring you through fall, into the holiday season, and last you all winter.

Today I paired it with skinny jeans, my Stella flatforms, and my new beautiful patchwork belt! The colorful leather can add a spark to everything from billowy dresses to jeans and trousers. I am loving the mixture of patterns and deep tones for the fall. Shop today's look below:
