J.Crew: Top, Coat (Similar), Denim, Booties (Similar)/ Bag: Sara Battaglia/ Infinity Scarf: Autumn Cashmere (Sold Out)

I don't know about you guys…but I am hating all of this snow!!  I am so glad I got to shoot some new looks before the storm came. Unfortunately most of my look today is sold out but I added some similar items for you to check out as well.Long gone are the days when white jeans are strictly reserved for summer and they are quickly becoming a winter staple of mine. There is something about them that is so much more refreshing than your average denim. Today I paired them with a boyfriend coat and fitted wool sweater that is perfect for layering as much as it takes to keep warm this season. This cashmere infinity scarf adds a cozy, yet on-trend leopard accent to the outfit.

Sweater: Joie/Boyfriend Jeans: Rag & Bone/Boots: Christian Louboutin/Bag: Sara Battaglia

I love boyfriend jeans because they are so easy to glam up or dress down and they give off that vibe that you look put together yet not trying too hard. I usually add a splash color with denim..it always seems to do the trick. These papaye colored edition of Christian Louboutin's 'So Kate' booties are my absolute favorite and they take this neutral outfit from simple and baggy to feminine with their high heel and touch of fiery orange. I added my  taupe Sara Battaglia bucket bag because I love the leather tassels…they add such a 'chicness' to this great carryall.

Dress: Theory/ Jacket: Alice & Olivia (Older)/ Booties: Miu Miu (Older)

There is just something about dressing in all black that just always looks and feels so cool. Whether it is how chic it is, easy to pair, or perfect for layering, it differs for everyone, for me, it always makes me feel sophisticated. This black dress from Theory forms to the body and is finished with a ribbed turtleneck and cap sleeves for a very minimalist look. I love pieces like this that work anywhere and everywhere and offer a simple solution to getting dressed. I paired it with my metal tipped suede ankle boots and studded bomber jacket for an edgier look, which is a little bit different for me.

Sweater: J.Crew/Pants: J.Crew/ Boots: Sergio Rossi/ Clutch: YSL

Showing my stripes in this tee-shirt alternative sweater. This is a great top either to wear by itself or to use as a layering piece. Being that the sleeves are a little longer and the fabric is hefty and warm, I have chosen to wear it by itself today with a pair of leggings and over-the-knee boots. This outfit can be worn straight through the day and into the evening.

Blouse: Vince/ Vest: Alice & Olivia/ Skirt: Splendid/ Booties: Vince/ Necklace: Chan Luu

There is nothing more chic than black and white…the combination is timeless and looks good on everyone. Todays outfit combines an Alice and Olivia long satin-trim vest over a 'borrowed from the boys' looking tunic. I love how the blouse just shows enough of the flounce hem on the skirt to add a touch of flirtiness.

Sweater: Joie/ Pants: J.Crew/ Top: J.Crew/ Boots: Reed Krakoff

What seems to work for me when I am dressing for the day is to choose in three's. Whether it be texture or pattern then, I like to add a splash of color somewhere in my outfit…it tends to make everything pop out at you. Since I am more of a neutral girl I don't go overboard with a lot of color. You will most often see me in shades of a neutral. When spring and summer come around I get a little more adventurous, but during the winter months I will play more with the textures and patterns in gray, black, cream, etc.

Hat: Genie by Eugenia Kim/ J.Crew Blouse, Coat, Sweater, Pants/Boots: Stuart Weitzman /Bag: Givenchy

During cold winter months it can be so hard sometimes to bundle up to stay warm, yet still look fashionable. Winter accessories can easily look overwhelming, so I think it is important to invest in the right kind, even though they may be pricey. For example,  today I am wearing a long down puffer coat that is designed to insulate heat and manages not to look like a human sleeping bag. I paired it with leggings, and a cashmere sweater that is a good investment for layering, looking stylish, and staying warm. You lose the most heat through your head so it is definitely important to find a cute hat. I love this tweed Eugenia Kim hat that is perfect for both city streets and rural roads.

Top: Recover Designs/Denim: J.Crew Toothpick Jean/ Pumps: Christian Louboutin/ Jewelry: David Yurman

I think just about everyone loves Louboutin's and I am loving the fun pattern on this pair. This is definitely a statement shoe, made of satin and detailed with red polished nails. I kept it simple today wearing black jeans and a red mock turtleneck top as they say it all. Nothing else is needed. As much as I would like to be outside taking pics, there are those day's when it's just not practical. This week has been unbearably cold and Frankin Plaza has graciously opened their doors for me to shoot inside and we greatly appreciate it. For everyone in my area, they have just finished the third floor and you are in for a treat. It is beautiful…a must for any event!

Cardigan: Mason by Michelle Mason /Boots: Sergio Rossi/ Necklace: Chan Luu

Thanks to everyone for being so patient while I was going through my grandfathers illness. I am very happy to say he has pulled through and is finally back home. Being back to work is great even though it is absolutely freezing outside. Today I am wearing my leather leggings with a simple white tee. I wanted to showcase my new Chan Luu necklace that I sooo love. The black tassel against the white makes it show up nicely. I wanted to wear this heavy duster by Mason but it was just a little to cold so, I put on a light weight black day coat underneath it and found it gave my outfit another dimension. And how about these Serigo Rossi over-the-knee boots?! I am OBSESSED. Mixed with my black beanie, the outfit gains a more hipster edge.

Coat: Exclusive for Intermix (Sold Out)

Jeans: J.Crew

Boots: Reed Krakoff (Older)

I bought this topcoat exclusive for Intermix in early fall and it really has become one of my go-to staples. It always looks so chic no matter if it is dressed up or down…that's what I love most about it. Today for a casual day time look I paired it with my favorite skinny jeans from J.Crew that I cuffed above my boots and a simple blouse…making for an easy go-to outfit.

 Sweater: Tanya Taylor (Sold Out)

Jeans: Joe's

Boots: Christian Louboutin

Coat: Forever21 (Older)

Different shades of the same color or similar colors almost always look good together. This plaid sweater by Tanya Taylor is not only whimsical and fun but the color combinations are very eye-catching as well. The pink and red in the plaid mixed with the orange boots is very striking and dominant. When mixing colors it is important not to go overboard. To prevent that I added white jeans and a black blazer style coat…when in doubt I add neutrals.

Coat: Forever21 (Older)

Boots: Eric Michael

Beanie: Look at me Designs

Gloves: Cole Haan

Bag: Gucci

I am so obsessed with this new beanie I bought at a local boutique!! Not only is it stylish, trendy, and a one of a kind piece… I found out it is handmade with recycled materials..how cool it that?! Today it was so cold out that I decided just to pair it with leggings and camp socks. I dressed this outfit up by adding a touch of red, an oversized blouse, and "The Little Black Sweatshirt".
