Silver Lining

Top:A.L.C.|Culottes: Zara| Pumps: Christian Louboutin (Sold Out, Also Love This Pair)

I am such a huge fan of culottes. You can take the wide-legged pant anywhere with the right accessories and colors…not to mention there are now so many different styles ranging from denim to leather. The white pair I am wearing today are from Zara, which were very affordable (and makes them even better!) I added neon pink So Kate pumps with a silver/metallic halter crop top for a splash of color. Daisy,Daisy

Top:J.O.A|Shorts:J.O.A.|Wedges:Paul Andrew| Clutch:JCrew

Another day…another matching set. From crotchet to patterns, they never get old! The daisy-like pattern is cute and dainty and I just love the asymmetrical overlay on the shorts. It complements the summer pattern with a fluttery and petal-like element. Another way to add a touch of flair to your outfit this summer is by searching for pieces with subtle tassels…but adding them in moderation. The swishy tassel on this straw clutch and the braided wraparound ankle ties on this pair of Paul Andrew wedges add just the right amount of this trending adornment.

White Moves

Top:Alexis|Shorts:Alexis|Pumps:Rene Caovilla|Choker:Eddie Borgo

This is definitely one of my favorite outfits ever!! As much as bright colors and brilliant prints have their place in most everyone’s wardrobe, there is just something about all white that makes a statement on its own. An easy way to style an all white outfit is by investing in a matching set (like this one by Alexis). A minimal approach should never be underestimated. It may be a white on white set, however the delicate fabric of the sheer crotchet mixed with the bell half sleeves set this outfit apart from others. As for accessories, I decided to glam this look up by pairing it with leather sling-back pumps with a black Swarovski crystal contrast.

Today I wanted to spend some time by the pool and I figured I would get in a blog post as well seeing as how it’s been a little bit. I wanted to tell you all about a great new site http://www.shopriffraff.com all of the items are hand-picked and are a mix between southern charm and uptown chic. This is where I got this adorable sunset patchwork set!! It is so perfect for a pool or beach environment, and even to put on over your bikini. The bare shoulders cropped top and side tie shorts make you want to unwind and relax.

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and starts the week off on a positive note because we all know... Monday’s can be a little crazy.

Today I am excited to announce my collaboration with Denimocracy and Streddo!! How awesome are these tomboy shorts?! Such a relaxed fit and perfectly distressed. These shorts are made for the days when you want to be casual and comfortable. I paired them with my new short-sleeve buttondown from Rails and knotted it into a crop-style shirt…keeping the relaxed look steady. Banana slides and a leather belt finish off this tomboy chic outfit.

When the days get hot and humid but you still have to dress try taking a little breather in something like this off the shoulder easy breezy dress… the blue and white stripes are bold yet very striking.  Keeping it simple I just added a navy shoe and this fun clutch from Lanvin, which gives the outfit a little twist.

Pink & Orange

Dress:Juicy Couture (older)| Wedges: Sophia Webster (sold out)

Make a printed dress your staple this summer!! This one is an oldie but a goodie! The bright orange and pink are so fun and the silhouette is so flirty. The combination of the empire waist, sleeveless slip-on design, crossing front panels, keyhole cutout, and side hand pockets=straight summer perfection. Because the pattern on the dress isn’t too bold the stripes on these Sophia Webster wedges complement the fabric, while also adding additional colors.

Crop Top: J.O.A.| Skort: J.O.A.| Bag: Chloe (pre-order here in grey)| Pumps: Christian Louboutin

Tonal tassels are a go today. They add a subtle yet adorable element to this set by J.O.A. (which I may add is soo reasonably priced!) The tank has a cropped silhouette and the high-waisted skort is shaped by a wrap-style, creating the skirt in the front/ shorts in the back look. For looks like this I prefer to stay simple with accessories to keep it sophisticated. I paired my nude pumps and blush Chloe bag to add a hint of color, creating a clean and contemporary outfit.

Precious and Primitive

Scarf:Precious and Primitive| Denim:Rag and Bone| Pumps: Christian Louboutin

Today I am showing off my beautiful new scarf from a recent collaboration with Precious and Primitive. The line created by Stephanie Sachs and Sandee Zahn combines precious fabrics with primitive designs, and uses bold colors and patterns in their ultra soft scarves. The tribal pattern (pictured above) has rich shades of brown and cream, which is perfect for me because I love neutrals so much.

I decided to be very simple today, while pairing the scarf with a white tee, denim, and my nude pumps. There are so many unique ways you can style the scarfs from headpieces, to tops, and even sarongs.

Leather Shorts

Shorts:BB Dakota (Similar)| Top: BB Dakota (Not Available Similar Here and Here))| Sandals:Stuart Weitzman

Loving simple summer clothing and even though I already own black leather shorts, this BB Dakota pair were so reasonably priced and looked so cute with this little halter top, I simply could not resist. You can keep a leather look light and springy by adding bright whites or a pop of color. Another opportunity to wear my new favorite gladiators as well!

Hues of Blue

Happy Friday everyone,

It feels so good to finally be out and about after much family illness. This week I was in New York with my sister and friends and we have been having such a good time. Wednesday we went to a white party at Bagatelle and Thursday we were invited to a launch party for StyleLend in Soho that was hosted in a beautiful penthouse owed by Nouriel Roubini. I had a chance to meet some really nice people and from there we had a great time bouncing around the city.

Now I am on to today's post where I am wearing my favorite white Joe's Jeans and this knit multi-color striped top with contrasting cuffs from T by Alexander Wang (on sale now!!). I am loving the striking look of this top and I added a blue belt that came on an older random dress and it just happened to work perfectly.

Adding a neutral pump and a bag from Reed and all set for a casual day. I'm off running errands today. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you Monday!

Summer Whites

Dress:JCrew|Shoes:Nanette Lepore (older)|Clutch:Milly

Summer is a time for fun in the sun, light breezy clothes, sandals, and flip-flops. Today I am wearing a light weight white cotton dress from J.Crew. Changing it up  a bit I replaced the simple string belt with this black leather one to pick up the black in my shoes and bag. How ironic is it that these shoes are Nanette Lepore and while shopping around I happened to find this clutch from Milly which is an exact match.  I added a couple of fun necklaces and now this simple little white dress reaches another level as it now becomes very chic….

Leather & Lace

Before going to the Bahamas in May I had originally bought the Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals with the side zipper and elastic straps in the back… however, I ended up returning them because the straps didn’t fit my leg properly (a constant shoe struggle of mine). On my last visit to the city I found the “Backview Sandal” (photographed above) and they are the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Not only do they fit better with the adjustable straps, they are a chic cross between a boot and the popular gladiator sandal. They give a funky and more rebellious look to any outfit. The cutouts make a simple black dress like this Alice & Olivia one look fierce, and I love the combination of the bold leather with the dainty lace. I layered a few of my favorite Chan Luu necklaces with my crescent shaped Alexis Bittar because in this case…more is more.

Limoncello

Dress:Alice and Olivia (Similar Here)| Sandals: Christian Louboutin (Older, LOVE this pair)

Hi everyone,

Well yesterday was a day and I found so many new things I'm loving…one thing in particular on my wish list is the Dior nano purse. I am going to make it a priority since I absolutely fell in love with it. Today I'm still running around the city and then home again to make a late afternoon barre class.

My post for today is this cute Alice and Olivia yellow dress, so bright and cheerful and so easy to wear just about anywhere. I have paired it with a multi-colored Louboutin sandal and this Trina Turk small clutch. Hope you enjoy this outfit as much as I enjoyed wearing it.

Summer is my favorite time of the year and I'm finding the cutest things to wear…feeling very lucky to have more collabs coming up soon since it's only my first year blogging. I am kind of learning as I go and the plan is to reach 10k before August which is when I want to open myself up a little more to my personality. I am feeling very grateful that people are interested in my styling and what I am about…so heres to the future!!!

Watch Your Step

Jcrew:Sweater|Shorts|Belt|Bag:Reed Krakoff (Last Seen Here)| Pumps:Christian Louboutin

Hi everyone, hope your day is going well…just arrived in the city and putting up a quick post before running around. These 'Bermuda like' shorts are a perfect length to pair with pumps for me since I am not a real fan of short shorts with high heels. They are casual yet chic with the gold tuxedo stripe and super comfortable. Most of what I am wearing today is from J.Crew and I added my Reed Krakoff bag because it pulls the calf hair belt and all of the neutrals together.

Southern Charm

Dress:Rebecca Minkoff |Shoes:Christian Louboutin (also love these)|Hat:JCrew

It seems every time I post an outfit I’m saying “I’m obsessed’ or “I love”….well, clearly I have no problem shopping. I could buy everything I see that speaks to me (but I’d be broke) because there is plenty that speaks to me (aka everything). When I saw this Rebecca Minkoff dress and the way the shoulders drop and the beautiful blue tribal trim I knew I had to have it…thinking it would be so much fun to add this blue hat and my denim Louboutin pumps I went for it…. feeling very Southern today. I see myself wearing this dress a lot…from day time festivities to the horse track this summer!

Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit:Alice & Olivia (Last Seen Here)

Happy Friday to all,

Well it has been a bit of a rough time with the passing of my grandfather, I will miss him greatly as we shared a very special bond. I’m finally back on the blog and looking forward to a great summer and some travel. Just got back from spending some time in the city with my family to get a few things done then back home to shoot and can’t wait to get posting again!! Today I am wearing this white jumpsuit from Alice and Olivia. The pants and top are connected in the back by a zipper that runs straight up and then the outfit has a cute vest with a loose ruffle along the bottom over it. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it as it is both a little dressy and casual at the same time. I have chosen to pair with a patterned shoe and then a simple black clutch for a subdued look but you could easily wear a pop of color for a statement outfit or choose to go all white. You can also switch it up a bit by taking the vest off. There are countless ways to style this look. I would love to hear how you would choose to wear it!! Have a great weekend. I’ll see you on Monday!!

LWD

Dress:Banana Republic|Sandals:Christian Louboutin (Similar Here)

I hope everyone had an amazing Memorial Day weekend!! Now that summer has kicked off, what better way to start it than with the perfect little white dress?! The LWD is a new wardrobe staple and a must for the summer. The best part is you can dress it down or glam it up just like the little black dress. This lace shift dress from Banana Republic is so breezy and I am such a fan of the neckline on it. One of the best parts about a LWD is that you can do so much with it…add color, an edgier piece, or even mix prints. Today I went with a pop of color in my sandals! The mix of fuchsia, yellow, and turquoise make the outfit playful and summer ready. When I styled this piece on vacation I went with an edgier-chic look with a silver choker and neon pumps. White is so versatile and I love it.

Punk Floral

Dress:JCrew(Older, also love this one)|Pumps:Christian Louboutin (sold out)

Spring & summer for me…means great and easy dresses! I love this “punk floral” dress I have had from JCrew for about a year now. It is a tailored and easy straight silhouette with a chic cutaway back. The silk green fabric is so vibrant and the floral print adds a pretty touch for the nice weather. You can really pair a lot of different shoes with this… from pumps to sandals and all different colors. A perfect dress to make a dramatic entrance and exit.

Orange Tones

Pants&Top:Zara|Pumps:Christian Louboutin|Bag:Reed Krakoff (similar here)

Happy Thursday to all my friends…the holiday weekend is almost here and I hope everyone has a great one.  It has a tendency to rain every memorial weekend, so with any luck the weather will hold out.  I am wearing these high-waisted trousers from Zara today with a simple striped sleeveless top and I have this beautiful tote from Reed Krakoff that has a pretty blue lining so my denim Louboutins are again, perfect as the top also has a blue stripe in it.  The outfit is what I call casual chic…and I would be comfortable wearing it just about anywhere. I could also add the little jacket from yesterdays post with this if I needed a little warmth or wanted to dress it up a bit. I think I will go out and purchase a couple more of them because they are so great for that added something…
