Hello friends,

My posts might be a little sparatic for the upcoming week or so as I am out of commission. Hope to be up and about soon and back at work. In the meantime, today's look has that military feel to it. I have had this jacket for awhile now and I don't get to wear it to often but it seemed to work well with these side striped trousers. They have a small slit at the bottom which is very in right now..giving them that athleisure feel. I just added a geometric mock-neck top with a pop of red in the shoe and this great gold clutch from Rebecca Minkoff which picks up the gold from the buttons on the jacket. Happy Monday Everyone!!

Today I decided to share one of my favorite skirts!! It is a little older now but I am still as in love with it as I was the day I bought it. I love mini skirts…especially ruffled and layered ones for spring and summer. They are stylish, youthful, and have so many styling options.

This one from Alice & Olivia I actually wore on my 22nd birthday. Black floral appliqués dress up the scalloped tiers of the party-ready skirt. It may remind you a little bit of an older post I did Heart of Gold (another favorite of mine).

I am going to go out on a limb here and say this branch out pleated maxi skirt from Chicwish is seriously the coolest statement piece for the fall. I get such an October/ November vibe from the black and white print. I kept this look sharp with a black top, lace-up pumps, and added an envelope style wristlet with a script message-Wanted. Cheerio!

London fashion week has just come to a close, but I thought it would be the perfect time to share this fabulous skirt while London is still on everyone’s mind! The detailed red telephone booth and bus are a unique statement on this cool midi-skirt.  I paired it with my cropped mock neck knit from Milly and lace up leather pumps (which also come in red)

Yesterday I spent the day shooting a bunch of new looks to share, and when I got on the elevator to shoot some rooftop shots something happened that could not have been scripted. My hands were full and I dropped my phone….into the elevator shaft…you know that little slit the size of a penny….and down it went…2 entire floors.  We all stood there in shock like did that seriously just happen…then burst out laughing. I cannot tell you all of my experiences with cell phones. Anyway, long story short I ended up getting it back after a few phone calls were made and there was not even 1 single crack on the screen. Talk about luck!
