Camo Cargo

Camo Cargo

They are as casual as denim but way more fashion-forward.

A Plush Touch

For another season, velvet is yet again capturing hearts. When it comes to fabrics, nothing really ever looks as rich as the shimmery material does.

Sequin Bomber

Add some sparkle to your week with this fabulous bomber!! It may be fully detailed in sequins, but the sporty style makes it casual enough to wear with almost anything. Today, I decided to pair it with all black for a chic day to night look, but you can wear this bomber with denim, leggings, and even sweatpants. The double-sided sequins have serious glam, and you will just love flipping them up and down all day and night.

Happy humpday!

Today’s look is a very easy outfit to mimic. It is based around a neutral color palette and everyday go-to pieces.

These are my favorite distressed/ high-waisted jeans from Levi’s, and are actually one of the least expensive pair I own. I wanted to showcase this leather jacket I haven’t worn yet, so when it came to a top I wanted something very tight fitting. To limit on bulk, and have on a tucked in top that actually STAYS tucked in I went with a bodysuit (which we know are all of the rage right now) I may also add, they are an amazing transitioning piece for an ultra-chic layered look.

I received this skinny scarf as a gift for attending the Zimmermann show, but obviously there are a ton of other options out there. An olive green west 57th schoolbag and glitter Saint Laurent booties draw the finishing touches on a casual everyday look. Thanks for stopping by today.

XOXO,

PLEATS PLEASE!!

Today I am pairing a light and flowy top with jeans, pumps, and a leather jacket for a casual street look. The yellow top gets its delicate feel from row upon row of pleats. It is still a little chilly out these days...hence the leather jacket (which also offers an edgy vibe)

The yellow and blue tones in today’s outfit just so happen to match my new bag from Henri Bendel perfectly!! This style is the West 57th Satchel in Black Multi and it will be available VERY SOON!! It is one of my favorites because it is so striking!! Stayed tuned for additional posts because I will be sure to keep everyone in the loop when it is available.

This look is one that is easy very to mimic. Mostly everyone owns a leather jacket (it is a closet staple must) All you have to do is find a pleated top and add a pair of pumps…even sandals. Shop my look below:

Spring Fever

I have been having serious spring fever. I am over the cold and SO over my winter clothes!! I have been trying to incorporate more color into my outfits along with some lighter weight pieces. This midi skirt from Maje for instance has a neoprene-like finish and all-over print…you could do a lot with this. Today I decided to go with one of my favorite and classic layering pieces…a sleeveless shell (also see the matching cardigan) they always seem to work with just about anything. The sunset pink color adds a fun touch to the green and blue print. This look is still shoppable. See Below:

Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!!!

I shot this all white look last week before heading to New York City for fashion week. Red accent pieces make it perfect for Valentine’s Day and the soft fringe adds a cute and cozy feel. If you are searching for a last minute date night outfit consider your red accessories with an all neutral look.

It has been absolutely freezing here in the city… all I want to do is lay under my covers!! Everyone has been layering up like crazy. What are everyone’s plans today?!  I would love to hear!! You can shop this look and similar below.

This sweater is one of my favorite winter purchases. The oversized silhouette gives you so many options for styling and layering…even the possibility of layering it over the perfect dress. Today I decided on a yellow mini skirt and leopard beanie for a hip yet ultimately casual look. You can create this look with pretty much any solid mini and oversized sweater/top. It is perfect for the around-town gal who wants to look cool yet not overdone. You can shop this look and similar below. Thanks for stopping by!! XOXO

Paris

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Bonjour!!!

I am feeling very Parisian today with my new Stella McCartney beret…so what better way to accessorize it than with a Paris scarf draped across my shoulders. Both lend an effortlessly chic finish to this look. As you may know by now, I tend to stick to neutrals when the weather changes. They are easy to mix-and-match, are simple and versatile.

My parents bought me this scarf while they were in Paris, so unfortunately I have no advice on where to purchase it! The good news is…you do not need it to pull off this look. Below I have picked out other berets, wraps, and scarves that will work just as well. Remember, you do not need to stick to one neutral color. I hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

Hey everyone!! I'm a little late on today's post…but this is an outfit I wore a few weeks ago during NYFW. Originally I paired this with a deep v-neck sweater, but since we are all in fall mode now... today I decided to go with a navy turtleneck. This skirt is from Maje, and sold out  fast (which is happening so much lately). To accessorize this look I added a two-tone fabric belt (also from Maje) a navy leather jacket over my shoulders, and my fav Fendi monster bag!! Shop similar styles below and enjoy your weekend!!

Flower Power

Shorts:Alice and Olivia| Top:Theory| Jacket: Nicholas (now on sale)| Sandals:Stuart Weitzman|Choker:Asos|Bracelets:David Yurman,David Yurman,Vita Fede

Todays outfit consists of these Alice and Olivia white shorts and this silk black top. When I add my gladiator sandals and this Nicholas floral biker jacket the outfit takes on a new and dramatic look. Biker jackets, which have become a wardrobe staple of the millennium, have changed drastically over the years. Designers are adding everything from prints to embellishments, and just by pulling in a few different things…be it a hat, belt, jewelry, or shoes a look can completely change. I am all about a choker these days, and absolutely love what this multi-row festival-esque necklace brings to the outfit.

Jiyan Jumpsuit

To those who were wondering about how comfy these shoes were I can finally say they are very…I wanted to purchase some everyday flats and wedges to wear with shorts and jumpers and I fell in love with these Thakoon shoes with the python wedge…so cute and today I am wearing them with a gray jumpsuit from Theory for a casual day. The slouchy fit and classic tee material make it perfect. Adding this black belt helps to give this outfit a little pop plus it picks up the black in the shoe. You could also add a tank underneath if you felt a little uncomfortable with the looseness of the top but I just decided to let it drape.

J.Crew Skirt/ Sandro Paris Topcoat/ Givenchy bag

It  is still so cold out here in the North East but I wanted to wear a skirt or something a little different than jeans so I paired this loop fringe skirt from J.Crew with a simple white oxford shirt and a sweater together with black tights and my Stuart over the knee boots.  When an outfit is looking a little to bland I throw in a little pop of color and it always seems to  work.  I am such a neutral girl but that extra something especially, in this dreary weather gives a lift to an outfit. Cannot wait until it starts to warm up around here, it has been an incredibly cold winter.

Denim: Rag&Bone/ Vest:Theory/Pumps:Christian Louboutin/ Topcoat: Sandro Paris

These shredded and frayed Rag&Bone jeans are about to become a staple of mine. I am so obsessed with everything about them…especially the fact that they are cut in a flattering way, yet still manage to look 'tomboy cool'. I am wearing them with an oversized boyfriend style blouse, a tweed vest that is detailed with a subtle shimmer, and an added Chanel brooch I am currently "borrowing" from my sister (Thanks Cath!) As much as I would love just  to be wearing this outfit, it is still pretty cold outside…so over my shoulders is a Sandro Paris straight-fit topcoat in a charcoal grey color.

Beach weather and vacation cannot come soon enough. It has been so cold this winter…I just cannot wait until it is over. I am doing my best to get a variety of outfits in even though the weather has been horrible. Todays matching skirt and top is made by Theory. Unfortunately I am not able to show you the sleeve on this cropped pullover…it has long dropped sleeves which give the outfit a very relaxed look. Instead of the matching prosecco colored skirt, I chose the black for a little contrast along with black tights and these low gray Reed Krakoff boots which seem to be a crowd pleaser. You could also choose to wear high boots or even a really nice pump to complement this outfit.

Dress: Theory/ Jacket: Alice & Olivia (Older)/ Booties: Miu Miu (Older)

There is just something about dressing in all black that just always looks and feels so cool. Whether it is how chic it is, easy to pair, or perfect for layering, it differs for everyone, for me, it always makes me feel sophisticated. This black dress from Theory forms to the body and is finished with a ribbed turtleneck and cap sleeves for a very minimalist look. I love pieces like this that work anywhere and everywhere and offer a simple solution to getting dressed. I paired it with my metal tipped suede ankle boots and studded bomber jacket for an edgier look, which is a little bit different for me.

I am obsessed with this Chelsea Shearling Collar Biker Jacket!! It has a biker-inspired silhouette with quilted lining and a detachable shearling collar. Now that the weather is getting colder and jackets are a must…this one in particular is great because the collar turns up to cover your face on those windy days. For a casual look I paired it with a pair of jeans and my burgundy leather Nike Blazer's.

You do not ALWAYS have to spend a lot of money on apparel and accessories…it's all about mixing the highs and lows!! It's nice to splurge once in a while, especially on shoes and bags (because they're so expensive) but if you pay attention to fabrics, trims, prints, etc. you can create a fabulous outfit for half the price. Here I paired a Theory sweater (a little on the pricey side) with a skirt from Forever21. I think it looks adorable!!
