Go Gingham

Go Gingham this summer! The checkered print is as classic as stripes or polka dots.

Sassy Stripes

Stripes never really go out of style…horizontal, vertical, nautical, colorful, every which way…

'Mona Lisa'

My latest reasoning/excuse as to why I need to buy something these days is that… “I have this gut feeling it is going to sell out” (we all know that is the absolute WORST) and sometimes you just can’t take that risk!!

That was the case with both these Chloe wedges and Mona Lisa graphic tee. I was seeing these shoes all over…and I pulled one of those “no I’ll wait”…but in reality what are we ever waiting for?! It was not until I went to finally try them on at Saks and every color was sold out in my size that I realized I had to have them.  Luckily I found them online in the olive color that I have been loving (phewww) As for the top…I went back and forth for awhile wondering if I wanted to spend the money on a graphic tee and finally just went for the splurge because I thought it was too cool to pass up.

I decided to pair both with these destroyed white denim shorts. I love white denim in the spring and summer because there is something so refreshing about it. I added this canvas pouch because the fabric and tassels mesh well with the print on the front of the tee. Today’s accessories are available in many other colors and styles. I hope you find them as cool as I do. Thanks for stopping by today!! You can shop this look below:

Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!!!

I shot this all white look last week before heading to New York City for fashion week. Red accent pieces make it perfect for Valentine’s Day and the soft fringe adds a cute and cozy feel. If you are searching for a last minute date night outfit consider your red accessories with an all neutral look.

It has been absolutely freezing here in the city… all I want to do is lay under my covers!! Everyone has been layering up like crazy. What are everyone’s plans today?!  I would love to hear!! You can shop this look and similar below.

A Fresh Take

TGIF.

I just love a great mini skirt especially the combination of colors in this one. This flower print mini can be dressed up or down but I went with neutral sandals for a casual Friday look. The tasseled cuff on this pair adds a playful personality to an already fun summer skirt. The skirt sits pretty high on the waist so a knotted tee adds a fresh take on the average crop top today.

What are everyone’s plans for the weekend?! I arrived in the city last night with my boyfriend and plan on celebrating my 24th birthday this weekend with my sister and best friends!! I can’t wait! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Cargo Strap

Top:JCrew|Denim:Citizens of Humanity|Bag:Loeffler Randall(older,Love this one)

Happy Monday everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I love love love my new Citizens of Humanity jeans with a cargo strap. They are very relaxed fitting and distressed at the knees. You can wear them with any pair of sneakers or flats, but I would not pair these jeans with a heel or wedge because they have too much of a worn-in appeal. I added these cream lace-up flats, which were a great Forever21 find and a perfect match to this tweed short sleeve top! For a purse, I went with a leather studded box clutch with a chain strap to add a little spunk!
