It’s FRIYAYYY!!! (thank god)
I am really excited to share today’s look because not only it is super cool, but perfect for those of you who are festival bound soon…not to mention…it’s under $40 (excluding the denim jacket).
I love flares because they always make your legs look extra long. This allover floral print pair are knit and really comfortable. I paired them with a rust halter and oversized denim jacket for a very relaxed look..ideal for going into the weekend. This daisy choker adds a little bit of a hipster touch.

How ironic is it that something that is used to blend in with your surroundings is also a fashion trend that can make you stand out?! Camouflage is typically a more rugged look, but there are just as many high-end pieces out there as there are your everyday tee’s and sweaters.
The oversized cardigan I have on today is by Current/Elliot and I LOVE it. It is so comfortable, and oversized sweaters are the best for fall and winter because you can put them on with legit anything. I decided to stay with the oversized vibe, and added my boyfriend/cargo jeans along with my new suede booties and perfectly matching Fendi bag! I just love a great mini skirt especially the combination of colors in this one. This flower print mini can be dressed up or down but I went with neutral sandals for a casual Friday look. The tasseled cuff on this pair adds a playful personality to an already fun summer skirt. The skirt sits pretty high on the waist so a knotted tee adds a fresh take on the average crop top today.
What are everyone’s plans for the weekend?! I arrived in the city last night with my boyfriend and plan on celebrating my 24th birthday this weekend with my sister and best friends!! I can’t wait! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Today I am showing off my beautiful new scarf from a recent collaboration with Precious and Primitive. The line created by Stephanie Sachs and Sandee Zahn combines precious fabrics with primitive designs, and uses bold colors and patterns in their ultra soft scarves. The tribal pattern (pictured above) has rich shades of brown and cream, which is perfect for me because I love neutrals so much.
I decided to be very simple today, while pairing the scarf with a white tee, denim, and my nude pumps. There are so many unique ways you can style the scarfs from headpieces, to tops, and even sarongs.

Well I'm off to the city this weekend for some fun time with the girls. I love this camo weekender bag I came across at a local boutique and it's coming with…perfect for an overnight or a couple of days. Today I am wearing a pair of Rag & Bone jeans which work so well with the so Kate Louboutin pumps and I added a great white tee and an orange sweater I bought at J.Crew which picks up the orange in my bag…just a great casual outfit to travel in. I am so excited to collaborate with a great new contemporary brand called New Friends Colony and let me tell you…the pieces are AMAZING! Every garment is hand beaded and detailed with beautiful textures and patterns. From embroidered cami’s, dresses, and even swim suit cover up’s…the collection is the epitome of chic. Inspired by global artisan techniques, New Friends Colony allows us to interpret our own individuality and style. I have never really thought about myself having one particular style, but at this point in time if I HAD to say I would go with classic trendy. I turned this adorable blue and orange beaded shift dress a little trendier by layering both a denim and leather coat. I love shift dresses because they are so easy in the spring and summer to throw on with a pair of sandals during the day or dress up with a heel at night…depending on where you are going. This cinched swing jacket is a perfect layering piece for the season. The rubber printed stripes on the sleeves give it a rainy day vibe, however this jacket is great for any tricky weather spring brings with it. Today my Current Elliot oversized denim jacket saves me yet AGAIN underneath for some extra warmth. These slip-on lilac Vans pick up some of the color from the striped linen baseball tee and add a very laidback look.

Ok, soo…this oversized denim jacket was definitely an awesome purchase!! I was a little skeptical at first because it was a bit pricey but I have legit been wearing it non-stop!! It seems to be putting the finishing touches on a lot of my outfits. Today I added it with a simple black tank and a pair of Bermuda shorts. I haven’t worn Bermuda shorts in years because I was never really into the look of them, but this pair from Vince made me change my mind. They have a flattering fit and are actually really comfortable too. They can be styled just as cool and chic as any skirts or trousers and can easily be dressed down as well. I am more of a heel girl so obviously I went with a pump for some extra height and added snakeskin accents.

There is something about the ribbon bib on this shirt that makes me fall in love with it. It almost has a baby doll style look when buttoned to the top. Instead of dressing the ‘tux-like’ shirt up, I paired it with skinny stretch cargo pants, which match perfectly to the color of my Miu Miu crystal sneakers. An oversized trucker denim jacket on top and a plaid button up tied around my waist make for a look that never goes out of style.

Going into spring with flare. These pants are the perfect way to jump into warm weather. The colorful stripes and flared leg are this season’s biggest trend. My orange suede so Kate boots are a perfect match and suede is also a very big must this spring…bringing falls favorite fabric to a whole new level. The mesh pullover adds a contrast of texture to this look.

Springing fashionably forward today with Current Elliot, Rag & Bone, and Joie. I recently stopped into Circles, a local boutique and spied this outfit on the mannequin, and knew right away I had to have it…found out one of my favorite girls styled it…Kudos Alex!! They pulled the entire outfit for me, I tried it on, and then added this floppy brim fedora. I am in love with the fit of these cropped pants especially since I have a very difficult time finding pants that fit me well. The tee I am sporting actually is a muscle tank with an open back…going to be so cool for the summer. The Current Elliot denim jacket is oversized and boxy and I imagine I will be pairing this with a lot. Easiest outfit I have ever purchased!!

Thanks to everyone for being so patient while I was going through my grandfathers illness. I am very happy to say he has pulled through and is finally back home. Being back to work is great even though it is absolutely freezing outside. Today I am wearing my leather leggings with a simple white tee. I wanted to showcase my new Chan Luu necklace that I sooo love. The black tassel against the white makes it show up nicely. I wanted to wear this heavy duster by Mason but it was just a little to cold so, I put on a light weight black day coat underneath it and found it gave my outfit another dimension. And how about these Serigo Rossi over-the-knee boots?! I am OBSESSED. Mixed with my black beanie, the outfit gains a more hipster edge.
